Denim is [still] in again

So, of course, my last post magically got deleted - let's try this again rilll quick.

I'm going to start by letting you know that denim is still in.  And by "still" I'm referring to the past couple  of seasons it came back for.  Side note: we're not talking about all denim everything, but just a chill vest or jacket [mainly vests].

They're super easy and inexpensive to DIY; so, let me teach you how!  You're going to start with any old kind of denim top, no matter how drab. First, you cut the sleeves off - cut just along/outside the seam toward the center of the top.  Next, you have the option to bleach it - I typically like to use a spray bottle to create a splattered effect.  If you're going to do this, I recommend spraying in the shower or bathtub to prevent any unnecessary staining. Make sure not to let the bleach soak for too long, or you're going to risk it tearing through the fabric.  Then, you're going to wash and dry the clothes inside out to achieve the best frayed look [you can always trim to your liking].  If you're tryna make it spicy [and shiny], you can easily attach gems/studs with permanent fabric glue.  I like to wash/dry it one more time after doing this to ensure the glue will hold and to remove any excess bleach may still remain or smell from the previous wash.

Any questions?  Don't hesitate to ask :)
