Expansion.

Alright, let's be real - this girl struggles at keeping up with fashion blogging.  I'm still going to post about fashion, but I have a lot more going through my mind than just that.

Music - here are some of my current favorites; they're worth a listen, that's fashooo.

Diplo ft. Faustix& Imanos and Kai - Revolution
Love me some trap.

Seven Lions ft. Myon and Shane 54 - Strangers

Carnage ft. Tony Junior - Michael Jordan
You know this song, and now you know what it's called.  There ya go.

Armin van Buuren ft. Cindy Alma - Beautiful Life

Makj - Springen
Mmm, Clubby.

Dank - Wonder Child

Weird how good music can make you feel, isn't it?

Will the Mismatched Trend Be Making an Appearance?

At the FN Platform in Vegas last month, I got a sneak peak at all of the Spring '14 shoe collections. Dream come true, right? One of the trends that caught my eye the most was the mismatched look. [Many] People were sincerely wearing a different shoe on their left and right feet. I thought it was weird at first, but saw some looks that could really be pulled off by the right person. My favorites were the mismatched patterned boots that had sort of a Bohemian look for women, and the pastel colored loafers for men.

Don't get me wrong, it's definitely still weird, but if you can rock it well, more power to you.

Denim is [still] in again

So, of course, my last post magically got deleted - let's try this again rilll quick.

I'm going to start by letting you know that denim is still in.  And by "still" I'm referring to the past couple  of seasons it came back for.  Side note: we're not talking about all denim everything, but just a chill vest or jacket [mainly vests].

They're super easy and inexpensive to DIY; so, let me teach you how!  You're going to start with any old kind of denim top, no matter how drab. First, you cut the sleeves off - cut just along/outside the seam toward the center of the top.  Next, you have the option to bleach it - I typically like to use a spray bottle to create a splattered effect.  If you're going to do this, I recommend spraying in the shower or bathtub to prevent any unnecessary staining. Make sure not to let the bleach soak for too long, or you're going to risk it tearing through the fabric.  Then, you're going to wash and dry the clothes inside out to achieve the best frayed look [you can always trim to your liking].  If you're tryna make it spicy [and shiny], you can easily attach gems/studs with permanent fabric glue.  I like to wash/dry it one more time after doing this to ensure the glue will hold and to remove any excess bleach may still remain or smell from the previous wash.

Any questions?  Don't hesitate to ask :)

The Obligatory 'Sorry I Haven't Posted In Awhile' Post

As you can imagine, I have been very busy with Bobbi-Toads - all good things of course, though :) ..but it's gotten to the point where we're even considering branding my name. Sooo it's back to blogging, I suppose ;)

Do you ever wish your thoughts could be transmitted into words on the screen via your brain? Lol, so many thoughts, so little time.
